A great fleet and spectator turnout highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. Crowds continuing the recent trend of packing the beaches along the shores of the island in the Ziziphus region and the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier in the Eden Lapwing region. The fleet that assembled before them would not disappoint as it was comprised of a majority of ten Bandit IFs, four crewed and six single-handed respectively. Three Bandit 25Rs made up the remainder of the fleet, one crewed and two single-handed. The regions of the North Sea also behaved for the majority of the fleet, with only two DNFs (Did Not Finish) on the day, both in the first race.
