It was a beautiful winter day in the North Sea when we were again allowed to greet 8 bandit IFs. 6 skippers had brought the crew. The start went smoothly and three boats took the lead immediately, these were followed by the remaining boats. Soon one of the three boats of the other two had sailed away.
The start of the second race went flawlessly than the first, and with a compact fleet we headed for the first buoy. After the race progressed, there were mutual battles.

With a DSQ (Disqualified) and no DNFs (Did Not Finish), it was again a sporting, if not successful, day in The North Sea

Mild sim sailing weather that turned a bit choppy late, with another great fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks North Sea Open Regatta. The North Sea regions were mostly clam for the small boats portion, as only two DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded, one skipper pulled her boat after losing her navigation HUD while another skipper got stripped from her boat on a crossing. It was Saturday afternoon, the second competition day of the Bandit IF in the North Sea and we had six boats at the start including four with crew. It seemed to be a perfect day, but we had to drop the first race because a storm surfaced at Eden Jakana, causing most of the boats to hit our beautiful pier.

After a restart, the day went better and it would be an exciting day with a closed fleet and beautiful fights
At the last moment had a dropout. so we had one DNF (Did Not Finish).

Mild sim sailing weather and a great fleet and spectator turnout highlighted this weeks North Sea Open Regatta. The regions of The North Sea were temperamental during the small boat portion as the Eldberry region grew a hunger for skippers, causing four DNFs (Did Not Finish). After the Elderberry region was restarted at the conclusion of the small boat portion, the seas calmed down as only one DNF was recorded during the big boat portion, due to a skippers connection. The crowds, gathered across the North Sea in the Eden Jakana, Genip, Eden Auk, and Eden Albatros regions, cheered on this weeks skippers as they reveled in the excellent racing on display from both fleets.

This weeks small boat fleet, sailing on North Sea Olympic Course (Long), was comprised of a split majority of four The Mesh Shop (TMS) Nacra 17s and four Bandit IFs, three sailing single-handed and one with crew respectively. Three TMS Star Class, three Bandit 25Rs, and two TMS Flying Shadows made up the remainder of this weeks small boat fleet. Meanwhile, the big boat fleet, sailing on the North Sea Butterfly course, was comprised of a small majority of three Wildwind Open 60s. Two TMS One Design 65s, two TMS Volvo Open 70s, one Wildwind RC-44r, one Wildwind AC-45, and one Wildwind AC-62 made up the remainder of this weeks big boat fleet.
