A great fleet and spectator turnout highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. Spectators crowded the committee boat dock in the Eden Curlew region, as well as the islands in both the Ziziphus and Genip regions to view the large fleet that raced today. The waters of the North Sea responded in kind by behaving well, with only two DNFs (Did Not Finish) on the day, one in each race. There were two other crashes among the skippers of the fleet, but both skippers were able to return and sail their boats to a finish in the race. This weeks fleet was comprised of a majority of ten Bandit IFs, seven being sailed single-handed and three crewed respectively. Three Bandit 25Rs and one Bandit 60 made up the remainder of this weeks fleet.
