Saturday afternoon, tt was a beautiful day for sailing. This time we had eight Bandit IFs, including two with crew.
The North Sea regions behaved well. However, during the first race two tropical storms arose in the Fruit Islands waters.
We had a great and surprising start, with a group of three boats in the lead. However, they got the first storm in the Jambul region. After some survived the first storm, they were faced with the second storm in the Feijoa region. This quickly thinned the fleet.
The second race started with a nice start and the fleet remained close together until the last buoy. It was a competition that an RD prefers. No violations and everyone behaved on the water.
We had three DNFs (Did Not Finish) through both races, however it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.
More pictures after the results.
