Thursday afternoon was beautiful with good sailing weather, the wind coming from the south west, and no sign of a thunderstorm. Today we had seven Bandit 22 LTEs and four Star Class on the starting line.

From the start, both competitions were exciting. Different lines were sailed by different skippers so that sometimes the buoys went just fine.

We had one DNF (Did Not Finish) and one DSQ (Disqualified) through both races and it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.

This Saturday afternoon, we had a fleet of eight Bandit IFs at the start. Two Bandit IFs had crew.
The North Sea regions behaved well and even in the Eden waters, there was not a cloud in the sky.

We had a good start with five boats together. The fleet stayed together until reaching the Appleberry region. A skipper already had a large lead, so that the fleet was no longer able to catch up.

The second race also went well. The fleet of six boats stayed together as far as the river in the Eden Kittiwake region. When exiting the river, a skipper had made a fuss of the fleet and another skipper had fallen behind. On the way to the last mark of the day, the next group had caught up with the front runner again.

We had one DNF (Did Not Finish) and no DSQs (Disqualified) through both races and it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.

We have three boats. For the first two next rule appear ON THE SAME TACK, OVERLAPPED, but the black boat need room because she has an island in front of her. So the rule ROOM TO TACK AT AN OBSTRUCTION comes into play. So the white boat has to give room for the black boat.

A beautiful Thursday afternoon, with good sailing weather, the wind coming from the south west, and no sign of a thunderstorm. Today we had eight Bandit IFs and three Bandit 22 LTEs, with one IF having extra crew on board.

The start of the first race went smoothly and it was going to be a great race with the three 22s split from the eight IFs right from the start. Out of these eight Bandit IFs, two boats would split off from the other six.

The start of the second race was almost the same as the first race. The three 22s took the lead right from the start. The seven Bandit IFs followed closely behind. The race ran through the heart of the Appleberry region.

We had one DNFs (Did Not Finish) and no DSQs (Disqualified) through both races and it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.

Saturday afternoon, it was a beautiful day for sailing. This time we had ten Bandit IFs, including two with crew.
The North Sea and Eden regions behaved well, and there was not a cloud in the sky.

We had a great start again. The fleet stayed together for a long time. Only in the vicinity of the Appleberry region, did we have a stretched fleet. As a result, it was not blown into the river.

The second race took place in the east of Eden. It became a neck-and-neck race between the islands. However, it was difficult for some to navigate in Eden.

We had one DSQ (disqualified) and three DNFs (Did Not Finish) through both races, however it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.

More pictures after the results.

Race Notes:
Max (Maximiliano Szondi) was disqualified (DSQ) during the second race for sailing an incorrect course. They didn´t sail around mark two and three on the course.

Sirius (Sirius Rosca) and Kim (Kim Farleigh) both finished the second race tied at the finishing line with a time of 21:59. As their final time also remains tied, as they both sailed the same boat, Rule A7 of Guidance on Scoring under Appendix A to the Rules of Sailing is used to score this tie:

If boats are tied at the finishing line or if a handicap or rating system is used and boats have equal corrected times, the points for the place for which the boats have tied and for the place(s) immediately below shall be added together and divided equally. Boats tied for a race prize shall share it or be given equal prizes.

Therefore, both Sirius Rosca and Kim Farleigh receive 5.5 points, as the product for the place for which they have tied and for the place immediately below, 5 and 6, added together and divided equally.

Saturday afternoon, tt was a beautiful day for sailing. This time we had nine Bandit IFs, including two with crew.
The North Sea regions behaved reasonably well, but we still had four dropouts, one of which was before the start of the race. The race was also one of thousands. Except for a 360° penalty turn at the start, this race went almost flawlessly

The second race that went through Eden was not really smooth. With four ships side by side, it was sometimes urgent between the islands. However, it was nice to see how everyone went their own way and others tried to follow.

Today we only had one DSQ (Disqualified) and three DNFs (Did Not Finish).

Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful day for sailing. This time we had eight Bandit IFs, including two with crew. After the start of the second race, fate struck and everyone in the same region crashed, in Eden. We had to stop the race and sail an alternative course. The North Sea regions behaved very well, in light of the one region in Eden. The starts of both races went smoothly.
In both competitions the fleet stayed together for a long time, but near Appleberry everyone made their own way to the river. In the second race, there was chaos at the first mark, as a skipper missed the mark and seemed to round it the other way around, but didn’t
We had two DNFs (Did Not Finish) and a DSQ (Disqualified) and it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.
