Calm seas, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted the last North Sea Bandit Regatta for November, 2022. With a fresh breeze of 18 knots out of the southwest, The North Sea regions were mostly well behaved as three DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. All three DNFS, one during the first race and two during the second race, were due to skippers crashing while crossing over region corners. The crowds that gathered on the lighthouse observation deck on the island in the Ziziphus region, as well as on the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier and small race dock in the Eden Jakana region, took in a lively display of fleet racing from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on North Sea Olympic Course (Long) and the North Sea Trapezoid course, was made up of a majority of eight Bandit 22 LTEs. Two Bandit IFs rounded out this weeks Bandit fleet.
