Calm seas, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. The North Sea regions were generally well behaved as two DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. Both DNFs, one in each race, were attributed to skippers crashing while crossing over region corners. The crowds that gathered on the shores of the island in the Ziziphus region, as well as on the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier in the Eden Jakana region, delighted in a great display of fleet racing from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on the North Sea Manta Reverse and North Sea Bowline Reverse courses, was made up of a majority of seven Bandit 22 LTEs. One Bandit 25r rounded out this weeks Bandit fleet.
