Calm seas, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. The North Sea regions were generally well behaved as two DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. Both DNFs were attributed to skippers crashing while crossing over region corners. The crowds that gathered on the beaches of the island in the Ziziphus region, as well as on the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier in the Eden Jakana region, cheered on an exciting display of fleet racing from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on the North Sea Olympic Course (Long) and North Sea Olympic Mirror courses, was made up of a majority of nine Bandit 22 LTEs. Two Bandit IFs, and one Bandit 25r rounded out this weeks Bandit fleet.
