Calm seas, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. The North Sea regions were well behaved as no DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. The crowds that gathered on the shores of the islands in the Ziziphus and Genip regions, as well as on the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier and small race dock in the Eden Jakana region, delighted in a thrilling display of fleet racing from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on the North Sea 01 and North Sea 02 courses, was made up of a majority of seven Bandit 22 LTEs. Three Bandit IFs, two sailing single-handed and one sailing crewed respectively, rounded out this weeks Bandit fleet.

The fleet rounds the southern shore of the island in the Ziziphus region, the first mark on the North Sea 01 course, during the first race of the North Sea Bandit Regatta, on Monday, May 16th, 2022.
