Great sim sailing weather, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. The North Sea regions were well behaved as no DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. The crowds that gathered on the lighthouse observation deck on the island in the Ziziphus region, as well as on the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier and small race dock in the Eden Jakana region, reveled in a thrilling display of fleet racing from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on North Sea Olympic Short Mirror course and a two lap affair on the North Sea Short Loop Mirror course, was made up of a majority of seven Bandit 22 LTEs. Four Bandit IFs, three sailing single-handed and one sailing crewed respectively, and one Bandit 25r rounded out this weeks Bandit fleet in the first race. For the second race, a Bandit 22 skipper opted for his Bandit IF instead.
