This weeks North Sea Triple Threat Regatta took place on another beautiful Thursday afternoon in April, with good sailing weather coming from the west-southwest. Today we had five Bandit 22 LTEs and three The Mesh Shop (TMS) Star Class at the starting line. A Star Class had crew on board. At the start of the second race, a sixth 22 joined the races.

Today, we let the Star Class start again first. The Star races would be dominated by a skipper. She won both races by a large margin.

In the Bandit 22 class, the racing was exciting until the end of the race.

There were two DNFs (Did Not Finish) and no DSQs (Disqualified) through both races and it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.

Race Director: Daenerys

If a tie still remains between two or more boats, they shall be ranked in order of their scores in the last race. Any remaining ties shall be broken by using the tied boats’ scores in the next-to-last race and so on until all ties are broken. These scores shall be used even if some of them are excluded scores.

Skipper Race 1 Race 2
moonglownight Resident 6 1
citacg Resident 1 6

In the last race, Moon breaks the tie with Ester with his first place finish over Ester’s second place finish.
