Calm seas, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks Cat Fight in The North Sea. The North Sea and Fruit Islands regions were well behaved with one DNF (Did Not Finish) recorded on the day. The lone DNF was due to a skipper crashing while crossing over region corners. The crowds that gathered on the shores of the islands in the Ziziphus, and Genip regions, as well as on the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier and small race dock in the Eden Jakana region, reveled in the feverish fleet-foiled feline fray on display from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on the North Sea Copacabana and North Sea Extreme courses, was made up of a majority of three The Mesh Shop (TMS) Flying Shadows. One TMS Nacra 17, and one WildWind AC-45 rounded out the fleet for the first race. One Flying Shadow skipper took on crew for the second race.
