Smooth seas, and nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks North Sea Bandit Regatta. The North Sea regions were calm for everyone as no DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. The crowds that gathered on the observation deck of the lighthouse in the Ziziphus region, and along the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier in the Eden Jakana region, cheered on a spirited display of fleet racing from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on North Sea Olympic Course (Long) and the North Sea Copacabana course, was made up of a small majority of four Bandit 22 LTEs. Three Bandit IFs, and one Bandit 25r rounded out the fleet for the first race. The second race fleet was mostly the same with the exception of the Bandit 25r skipper switching to her Bandit 50/3 X.
