Thursday was a beautiful afternoon in March, and a nice day for the North Sea Thursday Triple Threat. With good wind coming again from the south west, The North Sea regions behaved well, and there was not a cloud in the sky. Today we had nine skippers on the starting line. At the very last moment, a tenth skipper joined the party. However, a skipper had to give up during the pre-start, so that we would start the race with nine boats.
Today we had two Bandit 22 LTEs, five Bandit IFs, and two The Mesh Shop (TMS) Star Class. Yes, you read well. For the Bandit 22 LTE and Star Class we only had two participants, so today only a results for the Bandit IF counts.
We had three DNFs (Did Not Finish) and one DSQs (Disqualified) through both races and it was another successful and sporty day in The North Sea.
Race Director: Daenerys
Assistant Race Director: Tamarushka, and Cryptic
Wind: 230° (SW) 15kts
Wind: 235° (SW) 17kts
Note:
Did Not Finish (DNF) = number of finish +1
Disqualified (DSQ) = number of finish + number of DNFs + 1
Did Not Start (DNS) = number of start +1
Today’s winners on the Bandit IF were Siri (Sirius Rosca), with Moon (Moonglownight Resident) second, and Julie (JulieRoyale Resident) in third place.
Congratulations to all of you. Thank you to everyone who came to sail and spectate.
Race Notes:
Jack (Jacquimo Resident) was disqualified (DSQ) during the second race for sailing an incorrect course, he missed the fourth course mark.
