Mild seas, with a great fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks Cat Fight in The North Sea. The regions of the North Sea were calm for most, as five DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded across both races. Of those five DNFs, two were due to skippers clipping region corners. The remaining three DNFs were due to skippers crashing. The crowd gathered on the small race dock and Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier, both in the Eden Jakana region, cheered on the fleet-foiled feline frenzy on display from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on North Sea Olympic Course (Long) and the North Sea Copacabana Reverse course, was comprised of a majority of seven The Mesh Shop (TMS) Nacra 17s. Four TMS Flying Shadows, three sailing with crew and one sailing single-handed respectively, and one Wildwind AC-45 rounded out this weeks catamaran fleet.
