Calm sim sailing weather, with a nice fleet turnout, highlighted this weeks Cat Fight in The North Sea. The North Sea regions were well behaved for almost everyone, with only one DNF (Did Not Finish) recorded on the day, due to a skipper crashing to her desktop in the middle of the last region before the finish of the second race. The spectators on hand, on the Bandit1 party dock and small race dock, both in the Eden Jakana region, and on the shores of the islands in the Ziziphus and Genip regions, reveled in the great fleet-foiled feline frenzy on display from this weeks skippers. This weeks fleet, sailing on the North Sea Curlew to Jaeger 01 and North Sea Jaeger to Curlew 01 courses, was comprised entirely of six The Mesh Shop (TMS) Flying Shadows, five sailing with crew and one sailing single-handed respectively.
1Bandit released their new Bandit 22 LTE boat at the conclusion of the Cat Fight, in the Eden Jakana region.

Daenerys (blondij Resident) and Ominu (Ominu Resident) both finished tied with 9 points. Rule A8.1 of Guidance on Scoring under Appendix A to the Rules of Sailing is used to break this tie:
“If there is a series score tie between two or more boats, each boat’s race scores shall be listed in order of best to worst, and at the first point(s) where there is a difference the tie shall be broken in favour of the boat(s) with the best score(s). No excluded scores shall be used.“
