Stormy but clearing sim sailing weather highlighted this weeks Cat Fight in The North Sea. The regions of the North Sea and Fruit Islands were finicky for the first race as three DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded. One DNF was due to a region crash, while the other two DNFs were due to skipper navigation error and another skipper capsizing and pulling their boat in frustration. The regions behaved for the second race, however, as everyone finished with no DNFs or crashes. Spectators enjoyed the great fleet-foiled feline racing display, in spit of the early stormy weather, as they watched from the comfortable confines of the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier, in the Eden Lapwing region. This weeks fleet, sailing on the North Sea Bowline Reverse and North Sea Copacabana courses, was comprised of a majority of three The Mesh Shop (TMS) Flying Shadows, two single-handed and one crewed respectively. One TMS Nacra 17, and one Wildwind AC-62 made up the remainder of this weeks fleet.
