Smooth sim sailing weather that turned choppy highlighted this weeks Backwater Bay Yacht Club Cat Fight. The regions in Bingo Strait behaved well for the first race, yet the regions of the North Channel, location of the second race, were choppy as they claimed the only two DNFs (Did Not Finish) on the day. This weeks fleet, racing on the BBYC Woodfall to Pastiche 02 and the newly created BBYC Pastiche Long Loop course, were comprised of a majority of three The Mesh Shop (TMS) Flying Shadows with one lone TMS Nacra 17 as the remainder.

During race 2, Astrid (AstridNewBonham Resident) missed the last mark of each lap, the west island in the Pastiche region, thereby resulting in her disqualification (DSQ) for incorrect course.
