Excellent region sailing weather and a great turnout featured in this weeks Backwater Bay Yacht Club Open Regatta. The Bingo Strait regions continued their streak of stable behavior as no DNFs (Did Not Finish) were recorded on the day. The crowd turnout was great as spectators crowded the small committee boat dock in the Woodfall region and along the spectator area in the Twice Bitten region.

This weeks small boat fleet, racing on the BBYC 04 Rev 1 course, was comprised of a majority of nine The Mesh Shop (TMS) Star Class. Two TMS Flying Shadows, and two Bandit 25Rs made up the remainder of the small boat fleet. Meanwhile, the big boat fleet, racing on the BBYC 09 Rev 1 course, was comprised of a majority of five TMS One Design 65s. Two TMS Volvo Open 70s, one TMS Ushuaia, and one Wildwind RC-44r made up the remainder of the big boat fleet.
