Bandit Regatta – Aug 20th 2018

This weeks Backwater Bay Yacht Club Bandit Regatta saw a smaller than usual turnout but nonetheless showcased some close racing. The fleet this week was comprised of a split of two Bandit IFs and two Bandit 25s for the first race but switched to three Bandit 25s and one Bandit IF for the second race. We still saw five racers combined for the regatta. The racing was tight as Moon took out his Bandit 25 for the second race and was in close contention with Astrid for the entire course.

Did Not Start (DNS) = number of start +1

Today’s winner was Astrid (AstridNewBonham Resident), with Ultra (ultramantra Resident) second, and Moon (moonglownight Resident) in third place. Congratulations to all of you. Thank you to everyone who came to sail and spectate.
