This weeks Backwater Bay Yacht Club Bandit Regatta saw some smooth sailing weather with some close racing. The protected water regions of the Bingo Strait behaved for the races with only one DNF (Did Not Finish) on the day attributed to crashing. The good sim weather lead to some close racing in the second race as the entire fleet got underway with 21 seconds on the race clock and a majority of the fleet finished within 30 seconds of each other. This weeks fleet was comprised of a majority of five Bandit IFs with two Bandit 25s making up the remainder.

The fleet gets underway on the BBYC 01 course during the second race of the Backwater Bay Yacht Club Bandit Regatta on Monday, August 13th, 2018.
