This weeks North Sea Open Regatta saw another large turnout and some smooth sim weather. 17 boats started in the small boat fleet, continuing our trend of large turnouts in the later part of this year. The sims themselves behaved well as we only saw 2 DNF’s in each race. Spectators also turned out in large numbers along the coast of the Eden Alabatros region, the beaches along Lighthouse Isle in the Ziziphus region, at the Poseidon Centre Spectator Pier in the Eden Puffin region, and at the committee boat dock in the Breadnut region.
Note: We have adjusted the handicap for the TMS Flying Shadow v2.0 to 0.96 (from 1.06 for the V 1.6). The North Sea Handicap Table has been adjusted accordingly.
